FAQs
How is the work priced?
Hourly Rate: $185/hr
Shop Minimum: $150
Apprentice rates may vary.
Do I need a consultation?
We highly recommend a consultation before starting any tattoo. This allows us to understand your ideas, refine them into a cohesive design, and make sure we are on the same page before your appointment.
Consultations are free.
If you are out of town, we are happy to schedule a Zoom consultation.
How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Your health and comfort directly impact your tattoo experience.
Eat well before your session.
Get a full night’s sleep.
Hydrate.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that won’t interfere with the tattoo area. Choose something you don’t mind getting ink on — comfort is more important than fashion.
What is the deposit policy?
Deposits range from $150–$500+ depending on project scale.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable, under all circumstances.
Deposits are applied to the final session of your project — they are not treated as hourly payment.
Deposits secure your appointment(s) and cover the artist’s time spent preparing artwork, reserving studio time, and holding dates that cannot be booked by other clients.
Large-scale deposits ($500+) are specifically intended to hold multiple sessions for sleeves, back pieces, and other extended projects. If you cancel mid-project, the deposit remains forfeited for time already reserved.
If you cancel your project, change your design significantly, fail to show, or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit is forfeited.
Giving more than 48 hours’ notice allows you to reschedule without losing your deposit, but deposits are never refunded.
What if I change my mind about the design or project?
Your deposit secures the project and design agreed upon at booking.
If you change the concept, scale, or placement after booking, a new deposit may be required.
Deposits are not transferable to different projects or body areas.
Can my artist refuse to start certain areas or projects?
Yes. Our artists are committed to delivering tattoos to the highest professional standard. For large-scale work, we will not start new sections without adequate session planning. This ensures your tattoo heals properly, flows cohesively, and isn’t left unfinished.
What is a waitlist?
When an artist becomes overbooked, we may place new clients on a waitlist.
Being on the waitlist means you won’t have a set start date right away.
You’ll be contacted once scheduling opens up.
Consultations and design work generally do not begin until you are off the waitlist.
